Dana Lira is Vice President, Business & Legal Affairs for Warner Home Video in
Burbank, CA, with responsibility for, among other things, legal review of advertising and
promotions, clearance of DVD enhancements, and negotiation of distribution deals. Prior to
joining Warner Home Video in 1999, she was a litigation associate at Morrison & Foerster where
she worked on a wide range of matters including environmental insurance coverage, professional
liability, misuse of trademark and securities fraud. She also sat on the firm-wide pro bono
committee and the Los Angeles Office recruitment and hiring committee. From 1993 to 1996,
Ms. Lira was a construction litigation associate at Gibbs, Giden, Locher & Acret.
Ms. Lira received her J.D. in 1993 from UCLA and was the Chief Articles Editor for the
Federal Communications Law Journal. At UCLA, Ms. Lira received the American Board of
Trial Advocacy’s Outstanding Oral Advocacy Award.
